Parents,  Meridian Public Schools will sponsor a parent fair regarding the SATP (Subject Area Testing Program) for grades 9-12 on December 7, 2011 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for the parents of those children grades 9-12. This information is very important to the graduation of your child(ren). If transportation is a problem, please contact your local chapter of Parents for Public Schools at ppsmeridian.org.

The Meridian/Lauderdale County Chapter of Parents for Public Schools is a chapter of the National Organization of Parents for Public Schools.  We foresee representing every parent who wants to engage their child in learning. We aspire to educate, advocate, and communicate on behalf of parents, educators, business owners, and the community from all socioeconomic groups to support both of our local public school systems in Meridian and Lauderdale County to obtain the highest quality education for the children in our community public schools.

Mission:  The Meridian /Lauderdale County Chapter of Parents for Public Schools (MLCC/PPS) promotes and strengthens public schools by engaging, educating and mobilizing a diverse network of parents and community.  

Vision:  All children in Meridian/Lauderdale County will receive a high quality education.
